Heggerty - English & Spanish

Phonemic Awareness

Heggerty provides students with daily, explicit practice with phonemic awareness—the ability to hear, identify, blend, segment, and manipulate the sounds in spoken words.

  • Includes rhyming, blending, segmenting, and manipulating sounds
  • Used in English and Spanish to support students' literacy development
  • Provides short, engaging, consistent daily practice

Reading, Writing & Language Arts

Savvas myView Literacy provides students with a comprehensive literacy program built around high-quality texts, reading, writing, vocabulary, speaking, listening, and language development.

  • Builds comprehension and critical-thinking skills
  • Provides opportunities to read a variety of genres and text types
  • Develops vocabulary and academic language
  • Connects reading and writing
  • Provides opportunities for students to cite and explain evidence from texts
  • Available in English and Spanish to support our bilingual/dual-language learners
