Dear Armijo Families,
Welome to a new school year! We are thrilled to have you and your children as part of our school community. Our team has been working diligently to prepare for a year full of exciting learning opportunities and memorable experiences. At Armijo, we are committed to providing a nurturing and dynamic environment where every student can thrive. Our dedicated staff is here to support your child's academic, social, and emotional growth. We believe in the power of collaboration and look forward to working together with you to ensure a successful and enriching school year. Please take a moment to review the important information that will help you stay connected and informed. We encourage you to be actively involved in your child’s education and participate in the various school activities and programs we have planned. Please make sure to sign up for our school communication platform, ClassDojo to get daily and weekly updates. Please note our new school times for the upcoming year. If you need support for before school care please see our health assistant, Marsella Andersen for information on before school care information. We will also be offering different morning programs to help with drop off time 1 or 2 times a week.
New School Times: Start Time: 9:15 a.m. to 4:00
Staggered dismissal times:
- PK: 3:30 p.m.
- Kindergarten & 1st Grade: 3:55 p.m.

2nd & 3rd Grades: 3:58 p.m.

4th & 5th Grades: 4:00 p.m.
Office Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Please leave a message if we cannot get to the phone during office hours. We will call you back as soon as possible. Important Notes:

Student drop-off begins at 9:00 a.m. There is no supervision on the playground before 9:00 a.m. Students should not arrive before this time, as the school is not responsible for students who are dropped off early unless they are in a before-school program. Duty teachers will be ready to receive students at 9:00 a.m.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we implement these new times. Our goal is to create a safe and structured environment for all students, and these changes are a step towards achieving that.
