Pick up/drop off

Pick-up / Drop-off Procedures


Begins at 7:45 a.m. There is no supervision on the playground before 7:45. Students should not arrive before that time. School staff is not responsible for students who are dropped off early.


All families will sign an agreement indicating how their child will get home after school, be it by bus, parent pick-up, or any other method. Please make sure that you are on time to pick-up your child, and that they do not go home with anyone else without your knowledge. Students who are not picked up by 3:15 will be directed to the office to call for a ride. If we are unable to contact an authorized pick-up person by 3:25, APS Police will be contacted.

Finally, DO NOT TAKE other students home with you without permission or knowledge of their parents. If you find a student with your child that does not have permission to be with you, return that student to the school so we can contact their parents and get them home.

Please review procedure for dismissal at the end of the school day.

  • Only bus students ride the bus – no exceptions!!!
  • Students proceed to pickup area
  • Students who are not picked up by 3:15, will be escorted to the office to call and wait for a ride.
  • Students who walk or ride bicycles to school, are to go home immediately.
