COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS WILL BE INTEGRATED INTO ALL INITIATIVES

Teachers will support Individual goal setting for students through conferences at every Progress Report based on each student's own data.

Armijo Staff will provide consistent implementation of a safety and behavior management plan that ensures the school is a safe and orderly environment conducive to learning and to include classroom, school ground, and playground supervision.

Leadership Facilitates Data Driven Instruction

The Leadership Team at Armijo will facilitate professional development on how to access, analyze and use data to focus instruction for student achievement.

Planning for Effective Teaching

Administration will meet individually with teachers to review and plan lessons, along with providing PD opportunities.

Parent, Family, Community

The parent liaison has family meetings, coordinates family events, providing support for Nurtured Heart and provides ongoing support and communication for families.

   Redesigning the School Day

   Collaboration on scheduling for effective use of instructional time will be included in Instructional Council  meetings
